At times like the present when my broadband connection isn't working and I am also having problems with Sky TV it is amazing at how this can affect my whole attitude to life.
There are so many other things I can do but it is just the fact that something isn't working that frustrates me and stops me enjoying all the other things I could be doing like reading, listening to music, practising my trumpet etc.
The really frustrating thing is the difference between the level of customer service you get between different companies. I am dealing with BT and Sky and one of them seems superb and treats you like you really matter. You get the feeling that they want your custom. The other treats you like an idiot and, apparently, don't have any engineers able to sort the problem until next week. I am not saying which is which although I am pretty sure I will have a full choice of TV channels tonight!
I was right - the Sky man did get things sorted very quickly!
